Recent and extreme weather patterns

Extreme weather patterns like cyclones, tornadoes, hurricanes are happening all over the world and in the recent years it has become more frequent. The hurricanes mostly develop in warm tropical oceans and these derive their energy from evaporation of sea water. This is a very powerful storm developing in Atlantic and Pacific oceans and in northern Pacific this is called typhoons and in the rest of the world this is called as cyclones. Another change in weather phenomenon is tornados which are known to cause destruction at a distance of one mile to 50 miles long. These tornados are also called funnel clouds and there is tremendous pressure released during this storm.
The explanation as to why these tornados happen is because of rapid convection of air. When a tornado happens over the water there is tremendous pressure released through an upward fashion in the center of the cyclone thereby causing a sucking action and this creates a water sprout. These water sprouts are also extremely dangerous as it can travel to the land and finally cause tornados. Tornados are highly dangerous and they occur mostly in the United States and Canada. On April 3, 1974, the worst tornado happened in the United States named “Super Tornado Outbreak”.
